Please review the following project types and select the one that best describes the work you plan to advance if awarded a Bellagio residency.
- Scholarly Research: This project type will advance a scholarly discipline or field of study and often culminates in the publication of a book or article.
- Art: This project type will advance artistic practice by creating a new work of art. Art projects can be at the research, production, and/or post-production stage. All artistic disciplines are eligible including but not limited to visual arts, literary arts, music composition, and filmmaking. Multi-disciplinary projects also are eligible.
- Applied Practice: This project type originates from a professional domain outside the realms of academia and the arts (e.g., private sector, public sector, civil society) and can take many forms including books, articles, organizational plans, and policy briefs, etc.
